By using AfroCash Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • All users of the Platform shall strictly adhere to applicable Ethiopian laws and regulations, including the Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism Proclamation No. 780/2013, as well as any relevant Know Your Customer (KYC) directives from the National Bank of Ethiopia.
  • Cross-border remittances may be subject to delays due to regulatory approvals, banking processes, third-party services, or technical issues.
  • Exchange rates could fluctuate, and final amounts received may vary based on National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) and market volatility conditions.
  • Transactions must comply with Ethiopian National Bank (NBE) regulations, international sanctions (OFAC, UN, EU), and anti-money laundering (AML) laws.
  • We reserve the right to block, suspend, or reverse transactions if suspicious activity is detected.
  • This is a remittance service, not an investment platform. Funds sent are for transfers only and do not accrue interest or returns.
  • We disclaim liability for unauthorized transactions due to user negligence (e.g., sharing login credentials).
  • We are not liable for losses arising from incorrect recipient details or third-party service failures (banks, payment processors, etc.).

Terms and Conditions

By using AfroCash Platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the User) and Afro Solutions PLC (the "Company").

  • Users must be 18+ and comply with local remittance laws in their jurisdiction.
  • Users may be restricted in certain geographic regions due to legal or regulatory requirements.
  • Fees & Exchange Rates displayed before confirmation; are subject to change due to sudden market volatility beyond AfroCash's control.
  • Transfer Limits for daily/monthly caps apply based on regulations and user verification level (KYC).
  • Refunds are only for failed transactions (see Refund Policy).
  • KYC/AML checks are mandatory for all users (ID, proof of address, biometric verification if required).
  • We may request additional documentation for large or suspicious transfers as per regulatory requirements.
  • Illegal activities (money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud) are prohibited.
  • Circumventing currency controls or sanctions is prohibited.

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email and in-App, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility, Process and Timeframe

  • Failed transfers (bank errors, incorrect recipient details if detected pre-processing) are eligible.
  • To request a refund, please contact us at support@afrocash.co with your full name, details, transaction ID, and the reason for your request.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the transaction.
  • Refund requests will be reviewed within 3-7 business days, and you will be notified of the outcome.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days and issued through the original payment method used.
